Position Overview

 

The Salesforce Lead Developer will play a critical role in the company's IT department.  The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Salesforce development, a deep understanding of the platform, and the ability to create and customize Salesforce solutions to meet business needs.

 

Summary of Primary Duties and Responsibilities

 

The Salesforce Lead Developer is an LA-based position on a hybrid schedule. This position will report to the VP, Loan Operations. While not an exhaustive list, the Salesforce Lead Developer will be responsible for:

 

  • Custom Application Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components.
  • Salesforce Configuration: Customize and configure Salesforce to meet business objectives, including creating custom objects, fields, workflows, and validation rules.
  • Integration Development: Creating and maintaining integrations with other applications and systems using web service and API's
  • Technical Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for Salesforce implementations.
  • Data Management: Perform data migrations, cleansing, and mapping tasks using Salesforce tools.
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the Salesforce platform.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with Salesforce releases, features, and best practices, and implement improvements as necessary.

 

Education and Experience

 

  • Minimum five years of experience in Salesforce development; Salesforce Platform Developer I or II certification preferred.
  • Proficiency in English both written and spoken.
  • Experience in the finance industry is a plus.
  • Strong proficiency with Salesforce Flows, Apex, Lightning Components, and general platform architecture.
  • Experience with data tools like Dataloader.io.
  • Ability to clearly translate business needs into technical specifications and system designs.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong understanding of platform security capabilities, including TLS, SSL, LWS, CORS, and SSO.
  • Solid understanding of data sharing and visibility considerations for Experience Cloud.
  • Experience with CI/CD deployments and handling Experience Cloud bundles between environments.

 

Compensation

 

This position is exempt full-time, with salary range: $100,000 - $150,000 depending on experience level, plus discretionary bonus potential.
