Salesforce Healthcare Solution Architect

Health Cloud / Service Cloud / Marketing Cloud

Role Overview

We are seeking a senior Salesforce Healthcare Solution Architect to serve as the SME/SPOC for Salesforce solutions supporting healthcare business teams. This role is ideal for someone who can partner directly with Product Owners, business stakeholders, technical leads, and delivery teams to understand needs, assess impact, recommend solutions, and guide implementation.

The ideal candidate brings strong healthcare domain experience across payer, provider, care management, utilization management, population health, post-acute, or reference laboratory workflows. This is not a people-management role, but it does require senior-level ownership, strong stakeholder communication, and the ability to translate business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions.

This role requires broader Salesforce platform experience across Health Cloud, Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, and/or Marketing Cloud. Marketing Cloud experience is valuable, but this is not a Marketing Cloud-only role.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the Salesforce SME/SPOC for healthcare CRM and engagement initiatives.
  • Partner with business and technical teams to gather needs, assess impact, and define Salesforce solution approaches.
  • Design scalable solutions across Health Cloud, Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Marketing Cloud-related capabilities.
  • Support healthcare workflows such as care management, utilization management, provider/member engagement, population health, or reference lab processes.
  • Advise on Salesforce best practices, platform governance, data models, integrations, security, reporting, and release planning.
  • Collaborate with developers and technical leads on configuration, integrations, APIs, data migration, automation, and platform customization.
  • Translate complex Salesforce concepts into clear business value for stakeholders and leadership.
  • Support Agile delivery, documentation, backlog refinement, testing support, and implementation planning.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of Salesforce experience across Health Cloud, Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or broader Salesforce platform solutions.
  • Strong healthcare domain experience in payer, provider, care management, utilization management, population health, post-acute, reference lab, or related healthcare operations.
  • Experience as a Salesforce Solution Architect, Technical Lead, Functional/Technical SME, or senior Salesforce Consultant.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce platform architecture, data models, security, permissions, reporting, dashboards, automation, and integrations.
  • Experience working with Product Owners, business stakeholders, architects, developers, QA, and operations teams.
  • Ability to lead discovery, define solution options, assess technical impact, and guide implementation.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both business and technical audiences.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce Health Cloud experience.
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience, including Journey Builder, Marketing Cloud Connector, campaign automation, segmentation, or Marketing Cloud Intelligence.
  • Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud Consultant certification.
  • Health Cloud, Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or Platform App Builder certifications.
  • Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, MuleSoft, Copado, Azure DevOps, Jira, or SAFe Agile.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA, HL7, HEDIS, NCQA, Medicare/Medicaid, payer/provider workflows, or clinical operations.
