The Salesforce DevOps Consultant will play a key role in automating CI/CD pipelines, enforcing security best practices, managing sandbox and production environments, and integrating tools that suppor scalability, governance, and quality. We are seeking a skilled and security-conscious Salesforce DevOps Consultant to support the development, deployment, and ongoing operations of Salesforce environments. This role bridges the gap between development, security, and operations, ensuring that Salesforce applications are built securely, deployed efficiently, and maintained with stability and compliance in mind.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like GearSet, Copado, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Automate deployments across sandboxes and production environments with version control (Git) best practices.
• Support release management processes including branching strategies, change set coordination, and environment refreshes.
• Work with InfoSec to conduct vulnerability assessments and manage remediation on Apex code, Lightning components, and integrations.
• Monitor Salesforce platform health, integrations, and system logs to proactively address performance and operational issues.
• Support disaster recover and backup strategies for Salesforce metadata and data.
• Work closely with Salesforce developers, admins, architects, and security teams to guide platform development with security and scalability in mind.
• Provide technical guidance and documentation related to DevOps tooling, pipelines, and processes.

Required Skills:

• 3-5 years of experience in Salesforce DevOps, DevSecOps, or platform engineering.
• Proficiency with Salesforce platform (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Lightning Components, Apex).
• Strong knowledge of DevOps toolchains (Gearset, Copado, GitHub, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.)
• Experience with SAST/SCA tools (e.g., PMD, SonarQube, Checkmarx) in the Salesforce context.
• Familiarity with Salesforce metadata types and deployment models (MDAPI, SFDX, unlocked packages).
• Understanding of OAuth, SSO, profiles/permission sets, and platform security features.
• Solid scripting skills (Bash, Python, Node.js, etc.)

Bonus/Soft Skills:

• Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification
• Experience working in regulated environments
• Knowledge of CI/CD patterns for managed packages and multi-org strategies.
• Familiarity with Docker, containerization, or infrastructure-as-code.
