Salesforce Business Analyst (Sales & Service Cloud) Location: Riverwoods, IL
Contract Duration: 6 Months to Start
Job Overview We are seeking a Salesforce Business Analyst with 3-5 years of experience supporting Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud environments. This role will focus heavily on business processes, reporting, analytics, dashboards, and KPI development to support sales and service operations.
The ideal candidate will be skilled at translating business requirements into scalable Salesforce reporting solutions while collaborating closely with stakeholders, IT teams, and end users.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, document user stories, and develop detailed functional specifications for Salesforce reports and dashboards.
Design, build, and maintain Salesforce dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions to track:
Sales pipeline and opportunities
Case volumes and SLA metrics
Customer satisfaction and service performance
Configure and optimize Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud components, including:
Objects and fields
Validation rules
Security and permission settings
Develop and maintain data models and data quality controls to ensure reporting accuracy and consistency.
Perform data cleansing and support ongoing data governance initiatives.
Conduct onboarding and training sessions for end users on new and updated reports, dashboards, and reporting tools.
Collaborate with IT and analytics teams to integrate Salesforce data with external systems for enterprise reporting needs.
Create and maintain documentation such as:
Data dictionaries
Report catalogs
Governance policies and procedures
Stay current with Salesforce platform releases and best practices, identifying opportunities to improve reporting capabilities and business processes.
