Job Title: Salesforce Administrator
Location: Remote
Type: Contract
Duration: 6 + Months

Candidates must reside within 2 hours of Harrisburg region.


Work Schedule: Full-Time (37.5 Hours per Week)

Job Summary

The Client is seeking an experienced Salesforce Administrator to serve as the agency's senior Salesforce platform administrator. This role will be responsible for administering, configuring, supporting, and continuously improving the Salesforce environment while acting as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams. The ideal candidate will have strong Salesforce administration expertise, experience working with business users, and the ability to deliver scalable solutions using Salesforce's declarative capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain Salesforce user accounts, profiles, permission sets, roles, sharing rules, and security settings.
  • Configure Salesforce solutions using Flows, validation rules, approval processes, custom objects, page layouts, record types, and reports.
  • Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into effective Salesforce solutions.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to improve business processes and maximize platform adoption.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytics for operational and executive reporting.
  • Support data migration, data quality initiatives, imports, exports, cleansing, and deduplication efforts.
  • Coordinate testing, release management, deployments, and production support activities.
  • Troubleshoot platform, security, configuration, and integration issues.
  • Support Salesforce integrations using APIs and approved integration tools.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and knowledge base materials.
  • Deliver end-user training and ongoing support.
  • Mentor junior administrators and assist in building internal Salesforce expertise.
  • Establish governance, security, change management, and platform support processes.
  • Ensure compliance with security, accessibility, records management, and data governance requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience administering, configuring, supporting, or developing enterprise applications.
  • 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce Administration experience in a complex enterprise environment.
  • Experience configuring Salesforce using:
    • Flows
    • Security Models
    • Validation Rules
    • Reports & Dashboards
    • Approval Processes
    • Custom Objects
  • Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
  • Experience working directly with business stakeholders and providing customer-facing support.
  • Experience managing Salesforce security, user provisioning, permission sets, profiles, and role hierarchies.
  • Experience supporting data migration, data quality, and integration activities.
  • Experience with software testing, release management, and deployment processes.
  • Experience creating training materials and providing end-user support.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
