The ESS Team Manager, Specialties, reports to the VP of Sales and leads a remote team of sales specialists serving higher education institutions.
Responsibilities include recruiting, developing, coaching, and retaining high-performing sales talent; creating regional sales strategies; and partnering cross-functionally to drive customer value, market share, and revenue growth.
Key duties involve building a culture of accountability, managing KPIs, pipeline, and forecasting; executing strategic account plans; leveraging data for decision-making; and ensuring operational excellence.
Success is measured by achieving sales targets, developing talent, strong pipeline management, and delivering a high-quality customer experience.
Qualifications include 5+ years of enterprise or higher education sales experience, leadership skills, strategic selling capabilities, and proficiency with CRM and reporting tools.
Strong leadership attributes include coaching, strategic thinking, collaboration, adaptability, and effective communication.
Compensation ranges from $110,000-$160,000 plus incentives.
This position is remote with ~40% travel, no relocation offered.
