Key Responsibilities of the Sales Support Specialist
- Process opportunities, quote requests, and sales orders in the ERP system.
- Collaborate with sales leadership and internal teams, including engineering, estimating, logistics, and purchasing.
- Implement final customer purchase orders in coordination with sales representatives.
- Communicate with customers regarding quote requests and order statuses.
- Build long-term relationships with customers based on trust and responsiveness.
- Support business development by researching potential clients.
- Maintain and run management reports.
- Assist in creating sales presentations and marketing communications.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications of the Sales Support Specialist:
- 1–3 years of experience in Inside Sales, Customer Service, or a related field.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
- Experience working with an ERP system preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
