Sales Support Specialist
Do you enjoy meeting new people, building professional relationships, and helping drive business growth? Are you energized by networking, developing new client relationships, and taking initiative to create opportunities? StaffBuffalo is partnering with a growing organization in the Buffalo area to hire a Sales Support Specialist, offering $55,000–$65,000 per year plus commission. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys interacting with clients, supporting strategic growth initiatives, and working closely with leadership while helping expand the company's business.
As the Sales Support Specialist, you'll play a key role in supporting business growth through prospect engagement, relationship building, cold calling, client communication, and sales coordination. Approximately 75% of the role is focused on business development and sales activities, with the remaining 25% supporting operational initiatives that help keep projects and client relationships moving forward. This is not a traditional quota-driven sales position, but it is much more than an administrative role. You'll partner closely with leadership to identify new opportunities, engage prospective clients, represent the company at networking events and conferences, and help ensure important business initiatives continue progressing.
This is a newly created position, making it an excellent opportunity for a sales person who enjoys taking initiative, building processes, and growing alongside an expanding organization. The ideal Sales Support Specialist is outgoing, proactive, highly organized, and comfortable balancing relationship building with operational support in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
This is a full-time, onsite position based in the Buffalo area. The expectation is that you'll primarily work in the office, with flexibility to work remotely when appropriate, such as during weather events or other business needs. Occasional local travel throughout Western New York and a few conferences each year are required.
