ONSITE ROLE

Position Overview

Southeastern Equipment Company is seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized, and tech-savvy Sales Support Associate to join our growing team. Thisposition requires candidates to reside in the Central Ohio area.

In this role, you will serve as a critical partner to our sales and PSSR teams by managing the administrative and operational work that keeps deals moving efficiently from quote to close. You will play a key role in document management, sales preparation, equipment research, pricing, sales packet creation, sales process management, and ensuring every transaction is accurate, compliant, and completed on time.

Primary Responsibilities:

Sales Process Support

  • Support the Regional Sales Manager and Sales/PSSR teams with administrative functions related to equipment sales.
  • Prepare contracts, sales packets, finance documents, and supporting paperwork
  • Create, quote, update, and close opportunities in HubSpot.
  • Research equipment availability, pricing, and attachment compatibility
  • Verify trade information, customer account details, tax status, insurance documentation, and credit approvals
  • Ensure complete and accurate documentation prior to invoicing and funding

Equipment & Inventory Coordination

  • Determine whether equipment is SEC stock or requires special ordering
  • Submit new equipment and attachment orders to Purchasing
  • Release SEC equipment and attachments from branch locations after confirming availability and commitment status
  • Assist Parts with identifying serial numbers for equipment and attachments

Trucking & Logistics

  • Create trucking requests and send them to trucking manager via Vsimple.
  • Coordinate with the Trucking Manager for internal deliveries

Documentation & Compliance

  • Provide warranty information and buyer guides to customers
  • Ensure compliance with state tax laws, title requirements, and sales regulations
  • Maintain organized digital documentation for commissions and sales
  • Track required documents for commissions and final sale processing

Team Collaboration

  • Maintain Vsimple for accuracy
  • Participate in meetings, training sessions, and cross-functional coordination with Purchasing, Finance, Warranty, Sales, and Operations teams
  • Serve as the bridge between departments to ensure seamless transaction flow

Key Performance Metrics

  • Accuracy of documentation submitted to Corporate
  • Quote Turnaround Time
  • First in First out with equipment inventory

Qualifications:

Preferred Education & Experience

  • Post-secondary education (Community College, University, Trade School) or professional development in business, sales, or office administration preferred
  • 6 months to 3 years of administrative experience
  • CRM experience preferred, especially HubSpot
  • Strong working knowledge of:
    • Microsoft Excel
    • Microsoft Word
    • Microsoft Outlook
    • Microsoft Teams
    • Electronic Signature Software's
