Overview:
About the Role
At JG Wentworth, we are the Structured Settlement Industry leader, helping people access financial flexibility when they need it most— and we’re looking for motivated, entry‑level professionals to join our Sales Specialist team. In this role, you will work with individuals who receive long‑term settlement payments and are exploring options to convert those future payments into immediate cash through a court‑approved process.
In this consultative sales role, you’ll serve as a trusted guide— educating clients, answering questions, and helping them navigate important financial decisions during times of stress or transition. If you’re motivated by purpose, thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment, and want to build a career that blends sales, financial education, and customer advocacy, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while growing with a nationally recognized brand.
You don’t need prior financial services experience to succeed here; we provide a comprehensive, nationally recognized training program designed to give you the knowledge, skills, and confidence to build a successful sales career. With a base salary plus uncapped commission, clear performance incentives, and structured career progression, this is a strong opportunity for individuals who are eager to learn, earn, and make a meaningful impact early in their career.
Responsibilities:
What You’ll Do
Customer Engagement & Lead Management
Contact warm leads and existing customers from the JG Wentworth database to understand their financial needs and present available solutions
Make 100–150 outbound calls per day to prospect new opportunities and respond to inbound inquiries
Build meaningful long-term relationships with customers—many clients return multiple times, allowing you to grow and maintain a strong book of business
Sales Process & Court-Guided Transactions
Educate clients on the structured settlement process with clarity, empathy, and professionalism
Build trust with individuals who may be under financial stress and seeking guidance
Review settlement details including payment schedules, annuity issuers, and eligibility to help determine which payments can be purchased and at what value
Guide clients through the legal process by collecting documentation and coordinating with internal legal teams
Manage follow-ups and maintain an organized sales pipeline for current and future transactions
Balance sales performance with compliance, integrity, and customer advocacy
Training & Development
Receive comprehensive training to ensure product mastery and sales success
Work in a structured environment where coaching, development, and performance growth are prioritized
