Description

About Client

Client is a well-established commercial and industrial mechanical contractor serving the Colorado Front Range. Known for delivering complex HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical solutions, the company partners with some of the region's most demanding facilities, including healthcare systems, data centers, educational institutions, industrial manufacturers, research facilities, and large commercial campuses. Their focus is on long-term client partnerships, preventative maintenance, and operational excellence rather than transactional sales. As the organization continues to grow, they are investing heavily in leadership and building a high-performing service sales organization.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead and grow a commercial HVAC service sales team throughout the Denver market. This is a leadership-first opportunity for someone who has successfully built, coached, and developed business development professionals while driving accountability and creating repeatable sales processes.

You will begin by leading a team of two Service Sales Representatives with plans to expand the organization as the business grows. This is not a sit-behind-the-desk management role. You'll work alongside your team in the field, coach through live opportunities, improve sales execution, and help remove obstacles that prevent success.

Your success will be measured by the performance of your team, growth of the service business, and your ability to build a scalable sales organization. For the right leader, this role offers a clearly defined path into a Director of Sales position as the team expands.

The target market includes large commercial and industrial facilities, with a focus on buildings 35,000+ square feet containing 10 or more mechanical units. This is strictly commercial and industrial work.

What We Offer

  • Competitive base salary: $125k - $175k

  • Performance-based bonus structure

  • Clearly defined career progression to Director of Sales

  • Vehicle allowance and company gas card

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance

  • 401(k) with company contribution

  • Recruit, onboard, mentor, and retain top-performing sales professionals as the department continues to expand.

  • Establish accountability around prospecting activity, opportunity management, forecasting, and customer engagement.

  • Work alongside your team in the field to provide coaching, support complex sales opportunities, and strengthen customer relationships.

  • Oversee sales strategy focused on securing preventative maintenance agreements and long-term service partnerships.
