The Sales Leadership Program is an entry-level development role that trains individuals to become scrap buyers by providing hands-on experience in sales, market analysis, and customer relationship management within the recycling industry. Participants learn Nucor’s business through field exposure, mentorship, and direct interaction with customers and operations teams. This role is important because it builds the pipeline of future commercial leaders who drive revenue, maintain supply flow, and support Nucor’s commitment to safety, customer service, and operational excellence.
