This role is responsible for developing and managing a robust sales pipeline within the industrial manufacturing vertical market leading the full sales cycle from prospecting through project close. The position operates without geographic territory limits and focuses on building strong industry relationships and driving project-based sales.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild relationships with General Contractors GCs Authorities Having Jurisdiction AHJs Electrical Contractors ECs sprinkler contractors and other trade partnersBuild owner-direct relationships in the industrial manufacturing market that fit within our business modelParticipate in trade shows and industry associationsConduct learning sessions with Architects & Engineers A&Es that influence our businessPerform project take-offs to determine scope and quantitiesBuild cost sheets with the needed labor equipment and sub-contract costsWrite scopes of work for potential sub-contractors for installation labor costsWrite project-specific sales proposalsParticipate in monthly WIP project financial meetingsParticipate in weekly project meetingsManage opportunities without geographic sales territory limitationsComplete the On The Ball sales training coursesParticipate in marketing initiativesQualifications3 years of outside sales experience in construction fire protection electrical mechanical or related tradesDemonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in a project-based sales environmentExperience in heavy industrial vertical is strongly preferredAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and specificationsProficiency in developing detailed cost estimates take-offs and bid packagesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSelf-motivated with the ability to manage a large multi-project pipeline independentlyProficient in Microsoft Office applicationsThis position is not eligible for sponsorship.
