This role will support the Pacific Northwest construction and design market in Washington with additional opportunities in Arizona and California. This role is ideal for engineering professionals with structural or construction engineering experience, strong client relationship skills, and the ability to collaborate with architects, contractors, and design teams to deliver innovative steel joist and decking solutions.

Job Requirements
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Construction Management from an ABET-accredited institution
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Structural or Construction Engineering
• Proven client-management experience working with contractors, clients, and design teams
• Ability and willingness to travel regularly for client meetings and industry events
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills
• Ability to deliver technical presentations and support project planning discussions
• Commitment to workplace safety and industry best practices
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) preferred
• 4+ years of Structural or Construction Engineering experience preferred
• Experience supporting preconstruction decision-making preferred
Job Duties
• Build and maintain relationships with contractors, architects, structural engineers, and construction stakeholders
• Promote Vulcraft and Verco steel joist and decking systems within the design and construction community
• Provide structural engineering expertise to support project design, constructability, and value optimization
• Conduct technical presentations, seminars, and educational events for the AEC community
• Collaborate on early-stage project planning and specification opportunities
• Partner with Sales and Engineering teams to align technical recommendations with business objectives
• Gather market and customer feedback to support product innovation and service improvements
• Support project integration and design optimization initiatives throughout the sales process
• Represent Vulcraft and Verco at industry events, meetings, and networking opportunities
• Uphold Nucor’s safety standards, policies, and workplace procedures at all times
