Job Details

Job Details:
Support the business development process by turning customer requests into accurate, compelling bids for aerospace and advanced-composite components across aviation, defense, and space programs.
Review and analyze customer RFQs, drawings, specifications, and project documentation to fully understand technical and program requirements
Build accurate cost and material estimates and maintain data integrity within estimating tools and pricing models
Develop written proposals, customer response letters, and bid packages with clarity, professionalism, and technical accuracy
Present estimates to internal stakeholders and support pricing reviews and decision-making; communicate with customers and suppliers to clarify requirements
Track proposal status from submission through decision, and capture win/loss, pricing, schedule, and competitive-intelligence feedback for continuous improvement

Looking for:

Engineering experience with a cost-estimating, proposals, or manufacturing-quoting focus
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (required)
Associate through senior levels considered

Experience in any of the following areas welcomed:

Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints
Manufacturing processes, materials, and cost-estimating practices
Technical writing and proposal/bid-package development
CAD tools such as SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD, or Creo
Composite components / aerospace-grade manufacturing
