Join our team as a Sales Engineer where youll engage with customers via phone and email collaborating with internal and external partners to meet their needs. Youll conduct technical sales briefings and research customer specifications to tailor product solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities ---------------------------

  • Interpret and qualify customer-provided documents such as prints CAD files and specifications
  • Full understanding of tolerances materials specifications and processing options that will guide a robust metal supply chain creation
  • Manage part specific supply chains by utilizing internal and external processing assets to meet customer quality and delivery requirements
  • Estimate material labor and delivery options on a part-level basis and develop contract pricing templates based on awarded work
  • Evaluating sales proposals to ensure they are technically accurate and consistent with the organizations quality standards
  • Conducting technical analysis of product configurations to determine customer-specific prices
  • All other duties as assigned

Requirements ------------

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or equivalent preferred
  • 1-3 years of sales experience in the metal industry
  • Print reading required
  • CAD or drafting experience a plus
  • Experience with SAP is highly preferred
  • MS Office software skills required including Outlook Word and Excel
  • Experience in sales or customer service is an asset
  • Working knowledge of geometry strong math skills and a technical aptitude

Salary -------

$64,295.02 - $64,442.52 Annually

A starting salary higher than $64,295.02 annually is based on a level of experience and education that significantly exceeds the minimum requirements and is commensurate with the compensation scale.
