Sales Director (Account Executive)Salary Range: $220k to $260kPosition Overview We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Sales Director (Account Executive) to serve as the primary point of contact between our company and our customers. This individual will act as a one-stop shop for all customer-related activities, owning the overall relationship while driving revenue growth and margin expansion.
In this role, you will represent the voice of the customer internally and the voice of the company externally, working across a highly collaborative, matrixed organization to ensure alignment, execution, and long-term success. Key Responsibilities
Own and manage the overall corporate relationship with assigned customers
Serve as the primary liaison between customers and internal cross-functional teams
Align product and technology roadmaps between Business Units (R&D) and customers
Partner with Account Managers and Customer Logistics teams to ensure operational excellence
Monitor and proactively manage customer performance metrics (report cards) across logistics, operations, and technology
Build and maintain strong relationships across all customer levels to drive long-term growth
Co-develop and execute pricing strategies in collaboration with internal stakeholders
Ensure compliance with contractual obligations; identify risks, resolve conflicts, and track milestones
Analyze TAM / SAM / SOM within accounts and drive initiatives to increase market share at target margins
Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets
What Success Looks Like
Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities with existing and prospective customers
Effectively lead cross-functional, matrixed account teams (Account Management, Logistics, Engineering, Planning, etc.)
Maintain strong awareness of semiconductor industry trends and customer market dynamics
Deliver strategic insights to inform customer engagement and regional opportunities
Collaborate with Business Units to define and deliver compelling value propositions
Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with corporate objectives and revenue goals
Ensure new growth initiatives (e.g., SAM expansion, new programs) are properly reviewed, approved, and resourced
Manage demand planning, including wafer volumes, capacity, ASPs, and NREs in partnership with internal teams
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field required
10+ years of experience in sales or key account management within the semiconductor industry (foundry experience strongly preferred)
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
Technical understanding of semiconductor devices and manufacturing processes preferred
Proven track record in negotiation and closing complex deals
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed
