Will I have to purchase my own leads?

No. We provide all of the leads fresh leads coming in daily and a deep database of aged leads to re-engage. You'll never be asked to chase friends or family for business. Your job is to work the leads we provide and convert them into applications.


Is this a commission-only position?

No. We offer a strong base salary, uncapped bonuses on applications, and performance-based incentives. Top performers earn exceptional income because the structure rewards production not hours logged.


What can I reasonably expect to make in the first year?

If you follow our process and put in the work, you can reasonably expect to earn north of $50,000 in your first year between base, incentives, and bonuses with top SDRs earning well above that.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities for the Sales Development Representative:

  • Make outbound calls to new leads and re-engage aged leads in our database
  • Build rapport quickly, qualify the prospect's insurance request, and identify a fit
  • Warm-transfer or schedule qualified prospects with an Insurance Sales Producer to close the sale
  • Follow up consistently and hit daily and weekly activity, application, and hand-off goals

Requirements

Qualifications for the Sales Development Representative:

  • Sales, call center, or customer service background is preferred
  • Proven track record of success and able to handle rejection
  • Excellent communication skills: written, verbal, and especially listening
  • Coachable, competitive, and intrinsically driven to be the best
