The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is a foundational role in our Nursing Education division, focused on driving new business opportunities for our instructional and assessment programs.

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter with exceptional communication skills and a passion for education and measurable student success.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead Generation and Outreach • Targeted Outbound Prospecting: Conduct strategic research to identify and target high-potential campuses • Multi-Channel Communication: Execute personalized, high-volume outreach campaigns using phone calls, email, and LinkedIn to schedule introductory meetings for the Account Executive team • Value Proposition Articulation: Clearly and concisely communicate the measurable impact of UWorld's solutions on student achievement

  2. Lead Qualification and Nurturing • Needs Analysis: Conduct thorough qualifying calls to understand a prospect's current challenges, budget, authority, need, and timeline (BANT) • Content Strategy: Partner with Marketing to utilize case studies, white papers, and webinars, nurturing leads until they are sales-qualified opportunities

  3. CRM Management and Reporting • Data Integrity: Meticulously track all sales activities, prospect interactions, and lead status updates in the CRM (Salesforce) to ensure accurate reporting and pipeline forecasting • Performance Metrics: Consistently meet or exceed monthly targets for calls, emails, qualified leads (SQLs), and set meetings

Required

1+ years of experience in Sales Development, Business Development, or a high-volume outbound calling environment, preferably in the B2B SaaS or Education Technology (EdTech) sector Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex solutions clearly Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales engagement platforms
