The Sales Development Manager is responsible for building, developing, and driving new business activity through a team of entry-level Business Development Representatives. This role focuses on coaching, accountability, and pipeline generation, ensuring consistent sales execution while supporting deal strategy and client acquisition in the light industrial staffing sector.
This is a hands-on leadership role that combines sales expertise with daily mentorship to accelerate market growth and develop future Business Development Managers.
Responsibilities
- Sales Leadership & Team Development
- Train, coach, and mentor Business Development Representatives
- Conduct daily activity reviews and enforce performance expectations
- Lead structured sales training sessions
- Provide in-field coaching through ride-alongs
- Sales and Business Development
- Support territory sales strategies
- Assist in identifying and qualifying prospective clients
- Partner on client meetings and presentations
- Drive pipeline growth through consistent activity

- Monitor activity metrics
- Maintain pipeline visibility

Qualifications:
- 5+ years of staffing or B2B sales experience
- Proven new business development success
- Leadership or mentoring experience preferred
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- CRM and Microsoft Office proficiency
- Ability to work in-office and in the field
