Summary

Supervisor of the Sales Coordination Team responsible for providing Bonded customers with outstanding customer service for their lightning protection and grounding needs.  This position is the primary point of contact for Sales Coordinators, offering support through leadership, problem-solving, decision-making, training and quality control.  Sales Coordination Supervisor works closely with customers, Estimating, Preconstruction and Project Coordination teams, to ensure Bonded’s high-quality standard is upheld throughout the proposal process and turnover to a project.

Supervisory Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Performs all duties and responsibilities according to the Mission and Core Values of the Company
  • Handles job duties and responsibilities as written in the Sales Coordinator job description on a daily basis to facilitate productivity.
  • Collaborates with Sales Coordination department daily regarding project issues and tasks.
  • Manages the daily bid list/workload, ensuring accuracy in presentation, thorough thought-process, high standards are upheld, and deadlines are met.
  • Provides employees guidance in handling difficult or complex problems or in resolving escalated complaints or disputes on estimate / proposal related scenarios.
  • Trains and instructs employees in job duties or arranges for training to be provided.
  • Develops, updates and implements department procedures and customer service standards and communicates and/or trains employees.
  • Prepares reports to review sales, monitor production, and evaluate performance.
  • Coordinates and collaborates with other Department Managers on a regular basis regarding specific estimate/opportunity requirements and/or customer needs/requests
  • Identify and/or assist team in identifying sales opportunities and collaborate with Coordinator on appropriate tactics to use for a better presentation (bid/sales packages)
  • Monitor estimate pricing list regularly throughout the day to ensure deadlines are met and instructions are handled to meet customer needs.
  • Perform and/or assist with sales follow up communication with customers on project estimates.
  • Support preconstruction team through coordination of estimates, sales follow up communication and direct communication from customers.
  • Build relationships with direct team members, customers, preconstruction estimating, and project coordination teams.
  • Understand the full process through Bonded from initial inquiry, estimate, quote, sales, coordination, installation, design, safety, accounting and how the bid impacts all.
  • Revise and adjust department work schedules and flex employees (multi-trained employee) based on workload, deadlines and employee schedules. Handle employee workloads as needed based on employee schedules.

Requirements

  • Associate degree and 1-2 years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • High degree of professionalism and confidentiality
  • Superior organizational and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Exceptional computer skills with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • Pass a background check, drug screen
  • Ability to work and think independently taking initiative to accomplish required tasks
