Job Description

If you are an enthusiastic self-starter with a passion for sales and enjoy working with people, we want you on our team! As an Automotive Sales Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience while helping clients find the right vehicle to fit their needs.

Our Sales Consultants are highly knowledgeable about our vehicles, services, and the automotive market. You will guide customers through the entire buying process—from vehicle selection and features to financing options—while building lasting relationships that drive repeat and referral business.


Responsibilities

• Assist customers with vehicle selection by demonstrating features, benefits, and value-added options
• Present new and pre-owned vehicles in a professional and informative manner
• Conduct test drives while ensuring all safety guidelines and traffic laws are followed
• Guide customers through purchase and financing options in accordance with dealership policies
• Negotiate and close sales in a clear, concise, and ethical manner
• Ensure a smooth delivery process, including explaining vehicle features, warranties, and service requirements
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales documentation
• Stay current on product knowledge, including vehicles, accessories, financing, and promotions
• Attend required meetings, trainings, and educational sessions
• Assist in mentoring and training new team members
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous sales experience in any industry with a track record of success
• Strong closing and negotiation skills
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to remain professional and composed in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers and team members
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and achieve goals
• Professional appearance and positive, outgoing attitude
• Basic computer and internet proficiency
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
