Overview - 50% OUTSIDE Sales & 50% Inside, following up with Phone calls, e-mails, social media. This job will involve calling on Manufacturers, Distributors & Offices in the Cartersville, Adairsville, White, Rome, Acworth, & other nearby areas.

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Sales Business Development Manager to join our expanding sales team. In this pivotal role, you will drive the growth of our client portfolio by identifying new business opportunities, cultivating strong customer relationships, and implementing effective sales strategies. The ideal candidate will possess a proactive mindset, excellent negotiation skills, and a comprehensive understanding of sales processes and market dynamics. Duties

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and strategic outreach efforts.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Utilize CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software such as Salesforce to track prospects, manage pipelines, and analyze sales data.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, understanding their needs to provide tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns that support lead generation and brand awareness.
  • Lead negotiations with prospective clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements while maintaining company standards.
  • Coordinate with project management teams to ensure smooth onboarding and delivery of services or products.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for differentiation and growth.
  • Prepare detailed reports on sales activities, forecasts, and performance metrics for senior management review.

Experience

  • Proven track record of success in business development or sales roles within relevant industries OR Someone with Staffing Recruiter exp. who wants to move into Sales.
  • Extensive experience with CRM software.
  • Strong understanding of strategic planning and execution in a sales context.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively and close complex deals.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously within a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage diverse audiences. 2 yrs. sales exp. a plus, or a college grad with a sales major.
