Position Overview:

We are looking for a strategic and self-driven Sales & Business Development Manager to lead outreach, sales, and marketing strategies that drive company growth. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and is passionate about helping apparel brands scale. The ideal candidate brings strong communication skills, a creative mindset, and a data-driven approach identifying new business opportunities. This person will have the opportunity to play a key role within a growing company, work closely with the CEO, product merchandisers, and design team to shape client experience from their first interaction through signed contract. 

Key Responsibilities:

Client Acquisition & Lead Management:

Drive business growth by identifying and securing new clients, with a focus on startup and growing brands in the apparel space.

Take full ownership of the sales pipeline, including prospect outreach, lead generation, and timely follow-ups through Hubspot. 

Manage the contract process from negotiation to execution, ensuring documents are clear, accurate and aligned with company standards.

Collaborate with the CEO to refine pricing strategies through detailed costing analysis, utilizing tolls such as Harvest platform and sales planning tools to support financial goals.

Market Research & Sales Performance Reporting:

Analyze client demand and industry trends to identify growth opportunities and guide future outreach.

Assess the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and support leadership in refining strategy to drive brand visibility and conversion.

Track and manage key sales metrics including active leads, projected sales, and conversion rates. 

Prepare updates and reports for weekly internal meetings, ensuring the CEO and team are informed on current performance.

Leverage tools like HubSpot, Google Analytics, and other platforms to streamline workflows and track performance.

Work towards quarterly sales goals set in collaboration with the CEO, with a focus on sustainable growth and relationship-driven client acquisition.

UX & Brand Experience Ownership:

Oversee all client facing touchpoints including the company website, social media channels, and email communications.

Continuously refine sales materials, case studies, client agreements, and project examples to clearly reflect the company’s values and communicate our capabilities. 

Collaborate with internal teams to enhance messaging across platforms.

Social Media & Digital Ad Management:

Lead day-to-day execution of the company’s social media channels and Google ad campaigns to drive brand visibility and inbound leads. 

Develop and schedule engaging content that speaks directly to prospective clients, highlighting our process, expertise, and successful client experiences. 

Execute marketing strategies to build trust with potential clients, reinforce our value proposition, and support the sales pipeline.

Internal Collaboration & Development:

Partner with product merchandisers and design teams to ensure accurate communication with prospects around development timelines, capabilities, and deliverables. 

Clarify questions as they arise and ensure smooth handoffs once projects move forward.

Collaborate with the CEO to ensure that all messaging remains aligned with brand tone and business development goals.

Qualifications:

3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, ideally with apparel, fashion or creative services industries.

Strong understanding of B2B sales strategy, CRM systems, and digital marketing principles.

Analytical mindset with experience in pricing, forecasting, and contract management.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to brand founders

Organized, proactive, and comfortable working independently and cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.

Familiarity with UX and brand story telling across digital platforms
