Sales & Business Development Leader

Full-Time | Salaried + Commission + Revenue Share


We’re hiring a revenue-focused leader to drive top-line growth through value-based performance training solutions. This role converts inbound prospects and builds strategic community partnerships to expand athlete and adult training programs.


This is not a traditional gym sales role. You must understand sport science, athlete development, and structured training plans to position solutions that deliver measurable outcomes.


This role has minimal administrative oversight and no P&L ownership. Success is measured by revenue growth, partnerships, and client outcomes. As we grow, there will be direct reports into this position. 


Core Responsibilities
  •  Convert inbound leads from paid ads, website, social media, and walk-ins 
  •  Conduct consultative discovery conversations with athletes and parents 
  •  Position structured training plans based on goals and readiness 
  •  Complete functional movement screens and capture notes for programming 
  •  Drive sales of performance training packages and memberships 
  •  Build partnerships with: 
    •  Sports organizations 
    •  Youth associations 
    •  School districts 
    •  Club teams 
    •  Coaches and community leaders 
  •  Establish referral pipelines and long-term lead sources 
  •  Collaborate with performance staff to align training recommendations 
  •  Maintain consistent follow-up and pipeline management 
Ideal Candidate
  •  Strong fitness, athletic performance, or sport science background 
  •  Skilled at value-based selling, not transactional memberships 
  •  Able to translate training methodology into desired outcomes 
  •  Confident communicating with athletes, parents, and coaches 
  •  Relationship builder comfortable in the community 
  •  Results-driven with a consultative sales approach 
Minimum Requirements
  •  5+ years sales experience 
  •  2+ years team leadership experience 
  •  Proven results in health/fitness or performance business 
  •  Ability to perform basic functional movement screen 
  •  Strong communication and consultative sales skills 
  •  Must provide references who are able to validate performance results 
Preferred
  •  CSCS, NASM, or accredited certification 
  •  Background in strength & conditioning or athletics 
  •  Experience selling high-ticket training programs 
Compensation
  •  Base salary (exempt) 
  •  Sales commissions 
  •  Revenue share incentives
