Qualifications
Experience in commercial doors, overhead doors, loading dock equipment, construction products, industrial distribution, facility maintenance services, or a related industry is preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to understand technical applications and facility requirements.
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to identify customer challenges and provide practical solutions.
Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills.
Ethical, professional, and customer-focused approach to business.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers to drive repeat business, service work, and equipment upgrades
Prospect and develop new commercial, industrial, and institutional accounts through networking, referrals, customer visits, bidder’s lists, and cold-calling
Meet with customers to assess facility needs and identify opportunities for overhead door, dock equipment, and service solutions
Prepare accurate quotations, proposals, and service agreements
Successfully close sales by delivering solutions which provide measurable value, enhanced safety, and dependable performance
Coordinate with operations, service, and installation teams to ensure successful project execution
Maintain customer records, sales activity, and pipeline information within the company's CRM system

Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Outside Sales Representative to join our growing team in the commercial overhead door and loading dock industry. This role is responsible for developing new business opportunities, servicing existing accounts, generating proposals, and closing sales for overhead doors, loading dock equipment, service agreements, repairs, and related facility solutions.
The ideal candidate will be a relationship-driven sales professional who enjoys working directly with facility managers, property managers, contractors, warehouse operators, and industrial customers to solve operational challenges and improve facility performance.
