Sales Assistant (Future Sales Consultant Track)

Are you looking for a career, not just a job? At Pauli Ford, we believe in growing our own talent. As a second-generation, family-owned business since 1984, we’ve built a reputation as the highest-rated Ford dealer in the Lansing area (4.8/5.0 stars). We are looking for a high-energy Sales Assistant to support our sales team today while training to become a Sales Consultant tomorrow.

This is a unique opportunity to learn the automotive industry from the ground up in a transparent, "no-games" environment. Our philosophy is simple: We’ll give you all the information you need, the first time you ask. ### What You’ll Do:

  • Support the Mission: Provide vital administrative support to our sales team, including CRM data entry, appointment scheduling, and coordinating paperwork.

  • Customer Concierge: Assist customers with initial inquiries, ensuring they receive the fast, honest information Pauli Ford is known for.

  • Learn the Ropes: Shadow our top-performing Sales Consultants to learn the sales process, vehicle technology, and relationship-building skills.

  • The "Stepping Stone": Master the administrative side of the business with the long-term goal of transitioning into a full Sales Consultant role.

The Details & Benefits:

  • Pay: Competitive hourly wage.

  • Growth: A defined path to move into a Consultant role (where realistic earnings are $50k-$70k, with $100k+ potential).

  • Support: Medical, 401k, and PTO.

  • Culture: A family-owned, EOS-driven workplace where your contribution is valued and your growth is prioritized.

Requirements:

  • Organization: High attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using computer systems, CRMs, and digital tools.

  • Communication: Strong verbal and written skills; you’ll be the "voice" of the dealership for many first-time callers.

  • Ambition: A desire to learn the automotive sales industry and a goal to move into a commission-based sales role.

  • The Essentials: Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

  • Professionalism: Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
