Sales & Marketing Manager - Position Overview

A well-established industrial solutions organization is seeking a hands-on Sales & Marketing Manager to lead an outside sales team while driving profitable growth through business development, account expansion, strategic marketing initiatives, and sales process improvement. This is not a desk-management role. We are seeking a leader who enjoys being in the field alongside the sales team, coaching, mentoring, supporting customer visits, and helping drive revenue growth through active engagement with both employees and customers. This position serves as a key member of the executive leadership team and reports directly to the President.


Sales & Marketing Manager – Must Have:

• 10+ years of Sales Management experience

• 10+ years of Industrial Sales experience

• Desire to be actively engaged in the field with sales team members rather than managing exclusively from an office

• Proven success coaching, mentoring, and developing sales professionals through hands-on leadership

• Ability to ride alongside sales representatives, participate in customer meetings, and provide real-time coaching and support

• Passion for motivating teams, driving accountability, and creating a high-performance sales culture

• Strong business development, prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills

• Experience managing CRM systems, sales forecasting, pipeline reporting, and KPI development

• Experience in Industrial Sales and Services

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Bachelor's Degree preferred

• Willingness to travel throughout South Louisiana

Sales & Marketing Manager – Responsibilities:

• Lead, coach, mentor, and develop an outside sales team focused on profitable growth

• Spend significant time in the field supporting sales consultants on customer visits, presentations, and strategic account development

• Provide hands-on coaching and leadership to improve prospecting, relationship-building, presentation, and closing skills

• Lead by example through active participation in customer interactions and business development activities

• Oversee CRM utilization, pipeline management, sales forecasting, and executive reporting

• Manage marketing programs, trade show participation, customer outreach efforts, and digital marketing strategies

• Foster a culture of engagement, accountability, teamwork, and sales excellence throughout the organization
