Position Overview:

Responsibilities:
  • Research & Market Analysis:
    • Research and analyze broker, agent, and affinity distribution opportunities; assist in maintaining a pipeline of prospects.
    • Identify innovative partnerships and underserved segments (e.g., travel platforms, sports leagues, gig economy workers, remote employees, student athletes).
    • Explore cross-sell and bundling opportunities with existing products.
    • Investigate emerging trends such as parametric insurance, embedded coverage, usage-based models, and integration of AI, wearables, and telehealth into accident & health products.
  • Competitive Insights:
    • Conduct competitive analysis to identify leading carriers and their approaches in Supplemental Health, Participant Accident, and Business Travel Accident (BTA).
    • Develop competitor profiles covering product offerings, distribution channels, pricing strategies, underwriting approach, and digital capabilities.
    • Compare competitor value propositions and differentiators.
    • Research competitor distribution strategies (e.g., brokers, direct-to-consumer, embedded models).
    • Organize insights into dashboards, trackers, and a central repository for ongoing use.
  • Marketing Campaigns & Events:
    • Support development and execution of marketing campaigns to promote Business Travel, Participant Accident, and Supplemental Health products.
    • Track relevant tradeshows, industry events, and association opportunities; assist with event planning, logistics, and follow-up activities.
  • CRM & Project Support:
    • Maintain and organize CRM data to ensure accurate tracking of producers, opportunities, and marketing touchpoints.
    • Provide administrative support for sales and marketing projects, including coordinating outreach and follow-up with brokers and prospects.

Qualifications:
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Insurance / Risk Management, or a related field.
  • Strong research, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with CRM tools, a plus.
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Interest in insurance, healthcare, or financial services is preferred but not required.
