About the Role
Spiegelworld is looking for a Sales and Events Coordinator to join our team at the Headquarters in Las Vegas. The Sales and Events Coordinator will help support the VIP and Groups Sales team to grow business by building revenue and contributing a positive impact to operationally support events, customer service and sales goals. Reports directly to the Director of VIP and Group Sales, while supporting the department overall. This is a full time position that pays $25/hour.
What You’ll Do
- Assist Dept in the preparation of event & venue agreements, BEOs, addendums, and related correspondence; assist in the creation and internal distribution of Event Orders, reviews documents for completeness and accuracy; assists in following up with clients regarding deposits, insurance, and other related agreements.
- Provides administrative support through various office duties such as answering the phone, responding to client questions, client coordination, managing calendars, and scheduling site visits.
- Actively engage in our antiracist commitment and internal practices by participating in offered learnings, engaging in conversations around Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Accessibility, and helping us maintain a safe and welcoming workspace.
- Create a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect, and employee satisfaction.
- Responsible for converting inbound sales calls, as well as coordinating with the box office, events and operations teams. Responsible for inbound group sales and selling packages.
- Help manage leads.
- Assist in selling and processing ticket purchases via the Back Office.
- Network, research, and manage client database to create new business opportunities, including Tripleseat, and Sevenrooms.
- Assist in execution of sales and marketing campaigns.
- Provide customer service assistance, handling guest inquiries.
- Coordinates operational setup and breakdown of events, working collaboratively with Sales Manager and Operators (equipment/rental needs, station set up)
- Assist Sales & Events Dept. as requested with special needs by the client
- Create and maintain a detailed ROS for the Buyout Event to ensure accuracy and a seamless event.
- Due to the nature of the hospitality industry, Sales Coordinator may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs determined by Event and VIP Group bookings.
- Other duties as assigned by your manager.
All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and Spiegelworld policies, practices, and procedures.
What You Bring
- Minimum 2 years of sales and/or event execution experience (restaurant experience a plus)
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to deal with client issues and problem-solving, while maintaining professionalism.
- Strong ability to multitask
- Strong organizational and priority setting skills
- Experience in sales software
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Successful background check clearance prior to hire
- Candidates must have valid work authorization for the US
