We are a family-oriented company that operates within the car wash industry and is in an exciting growth phase. As we continue to expand, we are building our sales and business development function from the ground up. This newly created role offers a unique opportunity to help shape how sales and customer growth are approached within our organization.
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and adaptable Sales & Business Development Representative to support a combination of inside sales, outside sales, and broader business development initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in an evolving environment, is comfortable wearing multiple hats, and brings a strong work ethic along with a collaborative mindset.
Direct experience in the car wash industry is not required. We are more interested in candidates who demonstrate initiative, curiosity, and the ability to learn quickly. Because this role is foundational to our sales organization, attitude, cultural fit, and a proactive approach are essential for success.
Over time, this position is expected to evolve and may specialize further into inside sales, outside sales, or a more focused business development role based on individual strengths and company needs.
Key Responsibilities
Support both inside and outside sales efforts, including lead follow-up, prospect outreach, and relationship development
Assist with business development activities, such as identifying new opportunities, markets, or partnerships
Engage with prospective customers through phone, email, and in-person meetings
Help develop and refine sales processes, tools, and outreach strategies as the function is built
Maintain accurate records of sales activity and customer interactions
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth handoff from sales to operations
Represent the company professionally and align with company values in all interactions
Qualifications & Experience
Ideally 3–5 years of sales experience, though strong candidates outside this range will be considered
Experience supporting or balancing multiple sales functions is a plus
Comfortable working in a self-directed, unstructured environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Willingness to learn a new industry and develop new capabilities
High level of initiative, accountability, and work ethic
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary plus performance-based commission
