Job Title Sales Administrator - Manufacturing Industry (Direct Hire)

Location: Henderson, NC Employment: Type Full-Time, Direct Hire Schedule: Monday-Friday | 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Compensation: $18.00 - $22/hr per hour

Position Summary We are seeking a detail-driven and highly organized Sales Administrator to support Inside Sales and Buying Group operations within a manufacturing environment. This role is critical in ensuring smooth coordination between internal sales teams, customers, and supplier partners. The ideal candidate will bring strong administrative expertise, analytical skills, and prior experience working in a manufacturing setting. This position is well-suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and enjoys managing data, communication, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary administrative point of contact for customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer, account, and program information within Salesforce.
  • Coordinate and support quarterly group or customer meetings, including scheduling, preparation, and follow-up.
  • Monitor purchasing activity and prepare reports related to sales volume, pricing, and program performance for leadership.
  • Facilitate communication regarding product availability, promotions, programs, and operational updates.
  • Support management with pricing administration, program terms, and customer agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with contracts, policies, and internal procedures.
  • Assist with onboarding new customers, including outbound introductory calls, account setup, and system or process training.
  • Prepare and distribute communications such as updates, newsletters, and announcements.
  • Manage ongoing administrative tasks including marketing incentive updates, annual CRM audits, and customer list maintenance.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in sales support, sales administration, or customer service within a manufacturing environment is required.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing operations, distribution, or industrial sales is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience working with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships across teams and external partners.
