    Sales Account Manager – Sprinkler & Life Safety

    DC Metro Area | Full-Time | Base Salary + Commissions

    Career Staffing Talent (CST) has partnered with a growing U.S. and Canadian–based national sprinkler and fire alarm company to recruit a Sales Account Manager for the DC Metro market. This role is critical to expanding the branch footprint in sprinkler service and deficiencies sales and plays a key part in the company's long-term growth strategy.

    Compensation: Base salary + commissions.

    Responsibilities
    • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact and ensuring life safety and security needs are met.
    • Sales & Business Development: Identify new business opportunities, upsell and cross-sell services, and secure long-term service agreements to meet sales targets.
    • Solution Consulting: Partner with technical teams to deliver product demonstrations and provide technical guidance to clients.
    • Project Coordination: Oversee solution implementation, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
    • Market Research & Reporting: Stay informed on industry trends and provide strategic insights to clients and leadership.
    • Compliance Knowledge: Ensure all proposed solutions align with local, state, and federal regulations.
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or related field (preferred but not required).
    • Will consider equivalent experience in life safety, fire protection, sprinkler or security.
    • 3–5 years of experience in sales, account management, or customer service within the sprinkler, life safety, security, or related industry.
    • Strong understanding of life safety and security systems.
    • Preferred: Experience with fire protection systems, building codes, or sprinkler systems
    Skills & Competencies
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
    • Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
