Pay Rate: $25 per hour - $28 per hour

  • Location: Pasadena, TX
  • Duration: 12 Months
  • Work Mode: Onsite

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble complex components per assembly drawings/bill of material
  • Perform functional testing on assemblies
  • Test assemblies per customer and/or division criteria
  • Operate test equipment in compliance with engineering standards
  • Apply settings, calibrate, and maintain assembly tools
  • Perform torquing of various components
  • Distribute quality notifications (qn's)
  • Repair safety relief valves to National Board VR Code
  • Test safety valves with air, water, & steam
  • Read and interpret manufacturers drawings and spring charts
  • Understand steam boiler operating and testing
  • Apply measurement & math skills to verify critical dimensions
  • Perform machine and hand lapping of nozzles and discs
  • Perform valve write-up
  • Understand the pressure and leak test valves to National Board, API, and ASME standards

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year related experience
  • Experience with the assembly of safety valves is preferred
  • Experience working with dial calipers
  • Experience working with micrometers
  • Experience working with Consolidated products is a plus

Preferred Skills:

  • Reading and interpretation of assembly manuals
  • Good communicator
  • Attention to detail
  • SAP familiarity (ERP systems)
