This is an on -site safety leadership role in a high -volume food manufacturing environment. The Safety Supervisor owns the full safety program — compliance, training, incident response, and regulatory reporting — with a particular focus on OSHA, FDA, and food production standards.

What You'll Do:<\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>- Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies and conduct employee training on equipment handling, hazardous materials, and emergency response<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li> - Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and investigate workplace accidents and near -misses<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li> - Collaborate with quality assurance to ensure food safety protocols align with OSHA and FDA standards<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li> - Develop and maintain emergency response plans, including fire drills and equipment readiness<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li> - Inspect machinery and cold storage areas and ensure safe handling of chemicals, including cleaning agents and refrigeration gases<\/span><\/span>

Requirements<\/h3>- 3+ years of experience in workplace safety, preferably in food manufacturing
<\/span><\/span><\/li> - Working knowledge of OSHA, FDA, and food safety regulations<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li> - Strong leadership, communication, and training skills<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li> - Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, or related field preferred; OSHA 30, CSP, or similar certification is a plus<\/span>
