Safety Specialist
New Hampshire & Southern Maine
Drive a culture of safety. Work across sites in NH & Southern ME to support proactive safety programs for a respected contractor and employee-owned company.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead safety inspections and document findings.
- Facilitate safety trainings and toolbox talks.
- Support incident investigation and root cause analysis.
- Help update and implement safety policies.
- Oversee new hire safety orientation.
- Participate in project and safety meetings.
- Regular travel to job sites (NH & Southern ME).
Required
- High School diploma/GED
- OSHA 30 (Construction or General Industry)
- Valid driver's license, clean record
- Field travel flexibility
- Knowledge of safety regulations (29 CFR 1910/1926, or similar)
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Safety or related field
- Certifications: CSP, ASP, CHST, or similar
- Construction or heavy civil experience
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office & safety management software

Physical Requirements
- Work on active job sites, indoors/outdoors
