Safety Specialist # 26-15263

Schedule: Swing Shift (12:00 PM–10:30 PM, Sun–Wed or Wed–Sat)
Hours: 40 hrs/week (OT/Holidays as needed)

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety audits and inspections.
• Investigate incidents and report safety risks.
• Maintain safety records and documentation.
• Train employees and managers on safety procedures.
• Support OSHA compliance, fire prevention, and hazardous waste programs.
• Participate in continuous process improvement.

Required Qualifications

• 1+ year of EHS/safety experience or a related Bachelor's degree.
• Knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong communication skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Experience in warehouse, manufacturing, industrial, or healthcare settings.
• Incident investigation, Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), and Workers' Compensation experience.
• Team leadership or employee training experience.
• Emergency response certifications are a plus.
