Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Safety Operations Manager – Transportation to join our expanding team. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining safety standards, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting driver operations across multiple locations. Key Responsibilities of a Safety Operations Manager:

• Oversee and enforce safety protocols across assigned zTrip locations
• Conduct regular audits, vehicle inspections, and compliance assessments
• Maintain accurate records of driver qualifications, certifications, background screenings, and drug testing
• Investigate incidents and accidents, and implement corrective action plans
• Stay current on all applicable local, state, and federal transportation regulations
• Partner with operations teams to ensure consistent safety practices and compliance standards
• Support the development and delivery of driver safety training programs
• Communicate effectively with drivers, leadership, and regulatory agencies

Qualifications of a Safety Operations Manager:

• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, safety compliance, and fleet operations
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills with strong attention to detail
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to manage multiple locations and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in transportation safety, compliance, or operations preferred
• Results-driven with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
