Position: Safety Officer
Location: 50 Mile Radius of Charleston, SC
Reports To: Director of Risk and Safety and President of Company

Job Overview:
The Safety Officer will primarily support DOT and trucking operations in the construction field and would be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of all construction workers on-site, minimizing risks, preventing accidents, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations. The role involves daily safety inspections including DOT inspections, incident reporting, hazard identification, scouting out entry sites for drivers to deliver at construction sites and ensuring the implementation of safety protocols. The Safety Officer will work closely with truck drivers, Safety team, President of the company, project managers, foremen, contractors, and workers to ensure the job site is safe and all drivers and as needed, oversee that our construction activities are performed in accordance with safety standards.
