We're looking for an experienced Safety Manager to lead our safety efforts across the Wasatch Front - local to Spanish Fork, UT.
This is more than a compliance role. You'll partner with operational leaders, mentor a team of safety professionals, and help shape a culture where safety is everyone's responsibility. What You'll Do
- Lead and develop a team of safety professionals.
- Partner with operations leaders to strengthen safety culture across multiple locations locally.
- Develop, implement, and improve safety programs, policies, and training.
- Lead incident investigations, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for OSHA, MSHA, DOT, and other regulatory requirements.
- Analyze safety trends to proactively reduce risk and improve performance.
- Visit project sites regularly to build relationships and support field leadership.
- Champion Suncore's values while promoting continuous improvement in safety performance.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Safety or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of professional safety experience, preferably in construction, aggregates, mining, or another industrial environment.
- Experience leading teams and influencing operational leaders.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, MSHA, and DOT regulations.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
- ASP and/or CSP certification preferred.
- Ability to travel regularly to job sites locally and maintain an insurable driving record.
