Rate: $90,000 - $125,000 annually

Schedule
Hours: Approximately 50 hours per week
Schedule: Monday - Friday (Field-Based)
Shift: Typically 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM; occasional overnight pours (as early as 1:00 AM)
Project Scope
This role supports commercial and industrial concrete construction projects throughout the Reno, Nevada market, with a primary focus on large-scale data center and high-performance slab work. Projects include forming, finishing, tilt-up, cast-in-place concrete, and complex slab placements on active job sites.
The Safety Manager will be field-based, covering multiple Reno-area job sites, including major data center developments. The position works closely with another Safety Manager to ensure consistent safety oversight across all locations, with minimal office time and a strong onsite presence during active construction operations.
This role emphasizes proactive safety leadership, visible engagement with field crews, and continuous communication with superintendents and management to ensure all established safety procedures are followed without gaps in oversight.
Qualifications
4-year degree required
Minimum 5 years of construction safety experience
BCSP certification required (CHST or CSP)
Bilingual in English and Spanish (mandatory)
Experience in commercial or industrial concrete construction
Additional Requirements
Ability to work primarily in the field with minimal office time
Willingness to travel between multiple job sites within the Reno area (30-45 minutes between sites)
Flexibility to support occasional overnight concrete pours
Valid driver's license (company vehicle and gas card provided)
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular site walks, field audits, and safety inspections
- Maintain a consistent onsite presence with active crews during work operations
- Enforce established SOPs and issue write-ups when necessary
- Partner closely with superintendents to identify and address safety concerns
- Communicate safety findings clearly to field leadership and management
- Support a collaborative safety culture focused on prevention and accountability
