Description

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the safety team, including hiring and development
  • Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies aligned with OSHA and NFPA standards
  • Conduct jobsite audits and ensure compliance across multiple active projects
  • Oversee SSPs, JHAs, lockout/tagout procedures, and risk mitigation efforts
  • Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective actions
  • Track and report safety metrics (TRIR, near misses, leading indicators)
  • Deliver safety training, orientations, and ongoing education programs
  • Partner with project leadership to drive a proactive safety culture

Profile

  • 5+ years of construction safety experience (electrical strongly preferred)
  • At least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity
  • OSHA 30 certification required; CHST, STS-C, or CSP preferred
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA 1926 and NFPA 70E standards
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to travel regularly to project sites across the region
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety management systems
  • Bachelor's degree in Safety, Construction Management, or related field (preferred)
