Description
- Lead, mentor, and manage the safety team, including hiring and development
- Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies aligned with OSHA and NFPA standards
- Conduct jobsite audits and ensure compliance across multiple active projects
- Oversee SSPs, JHAs, lockout/tagout procedures, and risk mitigation efforts
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective actions
- Track and report safety metrics (TRIR, near misses, leading indicators)
- Deliver safety training, orientations, and ongoing education programs
- Partner with project leadership to drive a proactive safety culture
Profile
- 5+ years of construction safety experience (electrical strongly preferred)
- At least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity
- OSHA 30 certification required; CHST, STS-C, or CSP preferred
- Strong knowledge of OSHA 1926 and NFPA 70E standards
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to travel regularly to project sites across the region
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety management systems
- Bachelor's degree in Safety, Construction Management, or related field (preferred)
