Construction Safety Manager
Location: Auburn, AL
Duration: 8-10 Months (Start: 6/22/2026)
Type: 1099 Contractor
Compensation & Schedule
Pay Rate: $50/hr
️ Overtime: Paid After 40 Hours
Per Diem: No perdiem
Completion Bonus: $150/month
Pay Frequency: Weekly
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 50 Hours Per Week
Saturdays as Needed

This role offers the opportunity to oversee safety activities involving concrete placement, formwork, reinforcing steel installation, material handling, excavation support activities, and daily construction operations while partnering closely with project leadership and field personnel.
What You'll Be Doing
- Oversee daily safety activities for concrete construction operations
- Conduct routine site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
- Monitor concrete placement, formwork, reinforcing steel, and material handling activities
- Support and enforce fall protection programs and site-specific safety requirements
- Lead incident investigations and corrective action implementation
- Deliver new hire orientations and ongoing safety training
- Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), permits, and pre-task plans
- Maintain safety documentation, reports, and compliance records
- Partner with project supervision to proactively identify and mitigate hazards
- Promote a positive safety culture across the project
Required Qualifications
OSHA 30 Certification
5+ years of construction safety experience
Concrete construction experience required
Preferred Qualifications
Commercial construction experience
Experience supporting large concrete placement operations
Technical Knowledge
Candidates should have working knowledge of:
