Job Description
Verify that all equipment or incident related events are properly reported and submitted to EHS Director.
Complete daily site inspections and audits.
Daily safety report submitted daily before 7am the next morning.
Provide required documents to client/contractor must not be reminded to do so.
Verify all heavy equipment rigging fall protection tools are properly inspected and documented.
Complete daily JSEAJHA for the work task. Conduct QC audit, verify but not limited to: • Cages going into the drilled pile • Plumb reinforcing bars in the center of the pile • Piles being dipped to the correct elevation • Foreign bodies, dirt, mud, etc. excluded from the concrete in the pile • Drill tenders placing the drill tool on point or out of tolerance
Complete site safety walks with crew member.
Attend site safety/environmental meetings with client.
Ensure all workers are trained for the work task given ensure superintendent has copies of employee credentials.
Inspect and maintain fire extinguisher log.
Verify employees are wearing and have the proper PPE for the work task.
Complete weekly safety talk with employees.
Observe daily operations to ensure employees are working safely.
Collaborates with superintendent, foreman, and general contractor to share best safety practices, provide guidance, inspect or recommend equipment, provide alerts and foster safe working practices to minimize risk.
All required certifications must be current at all times. OSHA 30HR renewed every 4 years. If required training is not completed within 45 days of hire, will be suspended if not terminated.
