This position will be part of the Environmental Safety & Health team supporting the F-35 Aeronautics Field Sustainment (AFS) Interim Contract Support (ICS) operations at Luke AFB, AZ.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college with 3+ years related experience.
  • Experience as 5 skill level in USAF Air Force Specialty Code (AFSC), Navy Enlisted Classification (NEC), Marine Military Occupational Specialty (MOS), or Army Military MOS aircraft maintenance discipline
  • At least 3 years minimum experience with military flight line aircraft operations and associated safety program requirements
  • Experience with Air Force Occupational Safety and Health (AFOSH), Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA), Flightline Safety, Fall Protection, Foreign Object Damage (FOD) and Hazardous Material (HAZMAT) programs
  • Ability to work a flexible shift schedule
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Desired Skills:

  • Understand application of safety principles, concepts, practices, and standards to include knowledge of industry and company practices
  • Understanding of military fighter aircraft systems, aircraft maintenance activities, and high tempo flight operations
  • Knowledge and understanding of USAF 21-101, AFMAN 91-203
  • Prior fifth generation aircraft maintenance and flight operational experience a plus
  • Ability to work in a culturally diverse environment

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: Standard Monday to Friday 40 hour work week
