HM Staffing Solutions is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Safety Coordinator to join our team and champion a culture of safety across all operations. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with safety regulations, minimizing risk, and promoting health and well-being on the job site.


Key Responsibilities
• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety programs and policies
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance
• Lead safety training sessions and orientations for new and existing employees
• Investigate incidents and near-misses, perform root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions
• Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, training, and compliance documentation
• Collaborate with management and regulatory agencies (e.g., OSHA) to uphold safety standards
• Promote safety awareness and lead initiatives to improve workplace safety culture

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or related field (preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in safety coordination, preferably in construction or industrial settings
• Familiarity with OSHA, EPA, and other relevant safety regulations
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety management software
• Safety certifications (e.g., OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR) are a plus
