• Vehicle allowance of $1,150-$1,200 per month
• Overnight travel approximately one day per month

Project Scope
The Safety Coordinator will support construction projects throughout the Cincinnati, Dayton, and Indianapolis regions while reporting to the Cincinnati-area office. This role is responsible for overseeing and implementing safety programs across active job sites, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting a strong, consistent safety culture among field and office personnel.
The position involves regular job site visits, coordination with project leadership, and hands-on engagement with crews. The Safety Coordinator will play a key role in incident prevention, training delivery, inspections, and continuous improvement of safety performance across multiple projects.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction safety management
Experience supporting public and/or private sector construction projects
Strong working knowledge of OSHA and MSHA regulations
Proven experience applying CFR 1926 OSHA Construction Safety standards
Background in steel erection, heavy construction, or similar environments
Additional Requirements
Ability to travel regionally between Cincinnati, Dayton, and Indianapolis
Occasional overnight travel (approximately one night per month)
Ability to work independently and manage weekly schedules effectively
Valid driver's license
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage safety-related activities across assigned job sites
• Conduct routine safety inspections and audits to ensure regulatory compliance
• Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
• Develop, implement, and maintain written safety programs and procedures
• Coordinate and deliver safety training for field personnel and management
• Facilitate safety meetings with field and office teams
• Prepare and present safety inspection reports, incident reports, and performance updates to management
• Maintain current knowledge of OSHA, MSHA, and CFR 1926 regulations
• Mentor employees and enforce safety standards consistently
• Take corrective action when unsafe conditions or behaviors are identified
