Job DescriptionParsons is looking for an talented Safety Coordinator to join our team. In this role you will be part of the ATL Construction Management Partners team during the construction of a 6.4‑billion new construction project at the Hartsfield‑Jackson Atlanta International Airport.What You'll Be DoingReview the contractors' Safety and Security Plans, and Hazardous Communications Manuals submitted by each prime contractor.Coordinate contractor site‑specific safety program(s) and plan strategy for monitoring contractors' safety compliance during daily construction activities.Identify deficiencies for corrective action.Facilitate reporting, investigation, and corrective action in case of incidents.Develop, maintain and execute procedures to observe and verify performance of construction safety and security activities.Maintain documentation in a retrievable state for evidence of safety and security implementation.Follow‑up with contractors to ensure deficiencies in safety and security programs are corrected in a reasonable timeframe.Coordinate with the Construction Manager and project team concerning contractual safety and security requirements as well as corrections required by contractors.Coordinate safety inspections/monitoring with representatives of the City's Risk Manager, ATLNext Safety Manager, and others as required.Prepare weekly reports on observations, deficiencies, and corrective actions.Required SkillsCollege degree or equivalent knowledge and experience.10 years of previous experience as a Safety Officer.OSHA 30‑Hour certification.Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) certification.Desired SkillsAirport construction experience.Availability for a night shift schedule.Security Clearance RequirementNone.Salary Range$42.50 – $74.38 per hour.Equal Opportunity EmployerParsons is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, veteran status or any other protected status.#J-18808-Ljbffr
