Safety Attendants (Hole watch, Fire watch, Bottle watch)

We are seeking attentive, reliable safety professionals to support operations in active work environments where hazard awareness and consistent communication are essential. In this role, you will help maintain a safe workplace by monitoring conditions, following established safety procedures, and promptly reporting concerns to supervisors and team members.

Responsibilities

• Monitor assigned work areas to identify potential safety hazards and unsafe conditions.
• Maintain continuous awareness of personnel, equipment, and environmental conditions during designated operations.
• Support confined space, hot work, and cylinder handling activities by following site-specific safety procedures.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond quickly to emergencies, alarms, or changes in work conditions.
• Communicate clearly with workers, supervisors, and emergency responders as needed.
• Ensure required safety equipment is present, properly used, and in good condition.
• Keep accurate logs, checklists, and incident notes when required.
• Stop work and report concerns immediately when unsafe conditions are observed.
• Assist with maintaining compliance with company policies, site rules, and applicable safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in industrial, construction, maintenance, or safety-support environments is an asset.
• Ability to remain alert and focused during extended periods of observation.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions carefully.
• Basic understanding of workplace hazards, emergency procedures, and personal protective equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and perform assigned duties in varying site conditions.
• Willingness to complete site-specific safety training and certifications as required.
