Seeking an experienced Safety & Occupational Health Senior Policy Advisor to support the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of War for Safety and Occupational Health.
Provides strategic guidance on DoW SOH and OEH policies, directives, and governance, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and departmental objectives.
Leads policy development, revision, and integration across enterprise programs, advising senior leadership on risk management, policy implications, and technical analysis in areas such as industrial hygiene and environmental health.
Supports governance activities, prepares senior-level responses to inquiries, and represents leadership in regulatory engagements.
Requires a bachelor’s degree, 12+ years’ experience in safety or occupational health, and familiarity with federal agencies and policies.
Preferred qualifications include advanced degrees, senior advisory experience, and professional certifications.
